The roadway will only be closed for two days
SCOTT COUNTY, Ind.— Louisville & Indiana Railroad plans to close the S.R 256 railroad crossing between High Street and U.S. 31 in Austin for repairs starting the morning of Tuesday, March 28. The crossing is expected to reopen the afternoon of Wednesday, March 29.
Motorists should us an alternate route during the closure. Access to local business will be maintained.
INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change
