Scott Co. Free Food Distributions Moved to Wednesday's Only

Food boxes are provided for free for Scott County residents only, an ID is required.

(Scott County, Ind.) - With the start of the 2020-2021 school year, the free food distributions that are held at Scottsburg and Austin will now be changed to a weekly event.

Beginning Wednesday, August 12 the distributions will be moving from twice a week to once a week and will be held at the Scott County Fair Grounds. 

Every recipient will get a 50-pound food box which includes frozen chicken patties or nuggets, potatoes, onions, one gallon of milk, and more. 

Food boxes are provided for free for Scott County residents only, an ID is required.
