(Scott County, Ind.) - With the start of the 2020-2021 school year, the free food distributions that are held at Scottsburg and Austin will now be changed to a weekly event.
Beginning Wednesday, August 12 the distributions will be moving from twice a week to once a week and will be held at the Scott County Fair Grounds.
Every recipient will get a 50-pound food box which includes frozen chicken patties or nuggets, potatoes, onions, one gallon of milk, and more.
