Scott Co. Sheriff's Department Kept Busy Over Weekend

On March 29, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Indiana State Police with the service on an outstanding arrest warrant. Devon Sizemore, 22, of Austin was arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail for the warrant with the charge of Battery.


On March 29, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to a prowler call in Lexington. While conducting an investigation deputies made contact with a male identified as Hayden Adams. After the investigation was completed Hayden Adams, 23, of Crawfordsville was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication, and Disorderly Conduct.


On March 31, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office conducted a warrant service on Blanton Road. As deputies took Christopher L. Rhyne, 27 of Scottsburg into custody Christopher L. Rhyne received an additional charge of resisting law enforcement.


On March 31, 2019 a Sergeant with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in Lexington. As a result of the investigation Mark W. Smith, 46, of Charlestown was arrested for Driving While Suspended Prior.


On April 1, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s office conducted a traffic stop near Nabb, Indiana. As a result of the investigation Kenneth L. Freeman, 37, of Hanover was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Clark County for several Felony charges and received an additional charge of Driving While Suspended Prior. 


On April 1, 2019 Deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office attempted to conduct a traffic stop on I-65. After a pursuit occurred Dana E. Bailey, 56, of North Vernon was taken into custody and arrested for the following charges.
