Search warrant leads to the arrest of five.

The five were arrested on various charges

                                             

On July 2, 2024 at around 3pm the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office prepared to serve a search warrant at 219 S Ash Drive, Hanover, In.

Two vehicles left the residence as the warrant was being processed.

Traffic stops were made on both vehicles as they attempted to leave the area.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office then executed a search warrant of the residence.

Various narcotics were located inside the residence and inside of the vehicles attempting to leave the residence. Two handguns were also recovered.

Savanna Baker, Carlos Gomez-Sanchez, Rebekah Martinez, and Erik Crowder were all taken into custody and booked into the Jefferson County Jail. A 17 year old male juvenile was also taken into custody.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office shares the events of arrest for the purpose of keeping the public informed.
