Semi Collided With Fire Truck On NB I-71 In Henry Co.

I-71 NB was closed due to the accident.

A Amazon semi-truck collided with a fire truck from the Campbellsburg Fire Department on I-71 near Pendleton, in Henry Co. just before 5 o'clock this morning near the 32 mile marker closing the northbound lanes of the interstate.

Kentucky State Police say the fire crew was on the interstate putting out a car fire when the semi crashed into it. The force of the collision caused the fire truck to flip over and the semi to catch fire.
