Shawe, Pope John Schools Moving to Virtual Setting Until Nov. 17

During this time all extracurriculars will be paused including athletic practices and events.

(Madison, Ind.) – Shawe and Pope John schools will be moving to a fully virtual setting until November 17.

The school announced today that they have had a few positive cases that led to a larger number of students being contact traced and pulled out of school. During this time all extracurriculars will be paused including athletic practices and events.

The school did state however that Pope John preschool will remain open because “it is considered an essential service and they have been fully quarantined from the rest of our Prince of Peace community.”

During this time, teachers will be broadcasting from their classrooms and still instructing their students daily, the school stated that is it is important in the coming days that parents pay close attention to updates that will come from the school.

Also, even though classes will be virtual, the school is asking that you let them know so they can make sure that they have the information that is needed to be safe as possible.
