Nearly 1500 customers were affected in Milton

Friday night someone break into Shelby Energy's Milton substation cut the grounds and steal wire. Not only is this very dangerous but left several without power for a few hours
In order to get our substation back to operational they had to take the full substation down for about 3 hours. They back fed as many members as possible while they make the repairs.
Power was restored to customers around 4 pm on Saturday afternoon
