Sheriff’s Department Investigation Leads To Two Narcotic Arrests

Both men have the presumption of innocence.

March 23, 2018, The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department arrested two Jefferson County Residents on narcotic related charges, after an ongoing criminal investigation.

The investigation, led by Deputy Linton Spry, resulted in the arrest of Dusty Everhart 36, Deputy, Indiana, and Michael D. Crawley 56, Hanover, Indiana.

Everhart faces preliminary alleged charges of DEALING METHAMPHETAMINE LEVEL 3 FELONY, POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE LEVEL 6 FELONY, & MAINTAINING A COMMON NUSIANCE LEVEL 6 FELONY.  Crawley faces preliminary alleged charges of DEALING METHAMPHTEAMINE LEVEL 4 FELONY, POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE LEVEL 6 FELONY, & MAINTAINING A COMMON NUSIANCE LEVEL 6 FELONY.

Both Everhart and Crawley were transported to the Jefferson County Jail where they await their initial court appearance on the alleged charges.

Everhart’s bond was set @ $10,000.00 cash only with Crawley’s being set @ $5,000.00 cash only.

Both men have the presumption of innocence.
