Crews have been working all week to remove a semi-truck that was involved in a crash late Monday night.

(Gallatin County, Ky.) – For the third day, crews will be working to clear an accident that occurred on late Monday, February 1 in Gallatin County.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet stated that Interstate 71 southbound will be reduced to a single lane at the 62.5 mile-maker near Glencoe so crews can complete the removal of a semi-truck that was involved in Monday’s accident.
The lane closure will go into effect at 10:00 a.m. and is expected to last until 4:00 p.m.
Gallatin County Emergency Management officials stated that offloading, clean-up, and removal has taken longer than initially expected.
