Milton-Madison Bridge closed to traffic for over an hour this morning due to a jumper situation.
Bridge was reopened around 10:20.
According to Milton Fire and Rescue, today was a great coordinated response that made for a good ending to a bad situation.
Thank you to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department and the Madison City Police for their response and efforts.
Also thank you to the Trimble County Sheriff's Department, Trimble County EMS, Kentucky State Police, Madison City Fire and KDH EMS for their assistance in the response.
