The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce wrapped up the 16th

Annual Soup Stew Chili & Brew Festival on Saturday, October 16 with yet another record year! With chilly fall temperatures, Saturday’s festival brought thousands to Main Street. Attendees enjoyed food tasting at over 30 food booths, beer and wine gardens, live music, carnival rides, and activities for both kids and adults. The event saw a 10% increase in ticket sales.

“We are so grateful for everyone who came out to the festival on Saturday. This is truly a community festival. We couldn't do it without our volunteers, businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies all working together. We'd like to thank Trilogy Health Services (River Terrace & Thornton Terrace) along with all of our sponsors who made Soup Stew Chili & Brew possible. Our committee works year-round to make the festival the best it can be. It is definitely a team effort,” said Executive Director Lindsay Bloos.

The festival was created as an affordable family and community event to highlight the Main Street shopping district. The festival brings thousands of people to downtown Madison each year, and has been great for many businesses along Main Street, but it

also serves as a fundraiser for many area non-profits. It is held each year on the second Saturday of October. For more information, please contact the Chamber office at 812-265-3135. ###
