Police attempted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle when the pursuit began on U.S. 50 in Aurora.

The suspect was located on foot around 11:26 a.m. and was reportedly taken into custody at 11:34.

(Aurora, Ind.) - A police pursuit took place this morning after police received a report of a suspicious vehicle.
According to dispatch, the pursuit began on U.S. 50 westbound near the Road Dog in Aurora around 10:35 a.m. The pursuit continued westbound on U.S. 50 through Dillsboro and Elrod with the driver reportedly exceeding 100 miles per hour.
The suspect vehicle was located unoccupied at a home along S. Friendship Road.
Multiple agencies continue to search for the suspect. Eagle Country 99.3 will update the story when more information comes available.
