Three Arrested Following Narcotics Warrant

While executing the warrant, officers found methamphetamine and stolen property.

(Madison, Ind.) – On February 3, the City of Madison Police Department executed a search warrant on a residence in the 400 block of Moody Park Lane.

The search warrant was obtained as the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation led by Detective Kyle Cutshaw, with the assistance of Detective Ricky Harris, Patrolman Trent Smith, and Patrolman Cameron Blankenship.

While executing the warrant, officers found methamphetamine and stolen property. The recovered stolen property was allegedly taken from a residential burglary reported on January 29, in the 700 block West Third Street. Officers also seized paraphernalia, syringes, and U.S. currency as evidence.

Patrolman Jared Sweet, who investigated the burglary, was present for the search warrant and identified the property as items stolen from the Third Street burglary. As a result of the follow-up investigation, Officer Sweet was able to establish probable cause to charge Koons with level 4 burglary.

Those arrested following the executed search warrant are:

Glenn Bordelon - maintaining a common nuisance (level 6 felony), possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony), possession of a syringe (level 6 felony). 

Joshua Koons faces - possession of marijuana (class A misdemeanor), possession of paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor), maintaining a common nuisance (level 6 felony), possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony), residential burglary (level 4 felony), theft (level 6 felony).

Stephanie Patton - maintaining a common nuisance (level 6 felony), possession of paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor), possession of methamphetamine (level 6 felony), possession of marijuana (class A misdemeanor), possession of a syringe (level 6 felony).
