Tomorrow Last Day To Register To Vote

THE LAST TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY TO VOTE IN THE GENERAL ELECTION IS TOMORROW OCT 11TH BY 5PM.

EARLY VOTING IN JEFFERSON COUNTY IS SET TO BEGIN ON WEDNESDAY  at the Jefferson County Courthouse, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays through Friday, Nov. 4. There will be Saturday voting at the Courthouse on Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The final day of early voting at the Courthouse will be Monday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon

Voters in Indiana must have a valid Indiana driver’s license or Indiana state identification card, be a United States citizen, be at least 18 years old on or before the election, lived in the precinct 30 days before the next election.

Early voting take place at the Jefferson County Public Safety Center, 620 Green Road, Madison, on Tuesday, Oct. 18; Thursday, Oct. 20; Tuesday, Oct. 25; Thursday, Oct. 27; Tuesday, Nov. 1; and Thursday, Nov. 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Early voting also will take place at the Hanover Community Building, 200 Spruce Lane, Hanover, on three Wednesdays — Oct. 19, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 — all from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Any registered voter can cast their vote at any of the early voting locations. Persons voting on election day Nov. 8 must vote at their assigned polling location for the precinct where they live.
