Traffic Stop Lands Madison Woman In Jail

They were found with narcotics

                                      

April 15, 2023, Madison Police arrested Patricia A. Lowe 53, Madison, Indiana, on narcotic related charges.  Lowe was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Ronald L. French 56, Madison, Indiana. French was found to be operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a valid driver's licence.

The stop led to a search of the vehicle, as officers noted the odor of marijuana and observed an open alcohol container.  The subsequent search found Lowe to be in possession of methamphetamine level 5 felony and a legend drug level 6 felony.  French was charged with the driver's license violation.  

Both Lowe and French have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty. Officer Curtis Shelpman executed the stop and was assisted by Captain Season Jackson.
