Switzerland County Sheriff Brian Morton reports that on 10/4/2019 at approximately 1:25am a Switzerland County Deputy initiated a traffic stop on North State road 56 in East Enterprise. During the course of the traffic stop, officers found Methamphetamine, Syringes, and Marijuana. Chas Brashears of Sunman, Indiana was placed under arrest and transported to the Switzerland County Jail.
Brashears is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine – Level 4 felony, Possession of Syringe – Level 6 Felony, and Possession of Marijuana – B Misdemeanor. He was arraigned in an initial hearing todays date and bond set at $2000.00 cash.
