A Trimble County man is taking a plea deal in the death of a woman five years ago.
Robert Baldwin of Bedford, was in an Oldham County court yesterday as he took an Alford Plea. The plea allows him to maintain his innocence while admitting there's enough evidence to convict him of Angela Long's beating death.
Baldwin called 911 after the crime saying he had hurt someone and she needed to be checked on.
