Trimble Co. Schools To Resume In-Person, Virtual Learning On January 5

Childcare at MES and BES will also resume this Friday.

(Trimble County, Ky.) - Trimble County Schools announced that they will be resuming in-person and virtual classes tomorrow Tuesday, January 5. 

The school stated that they will continue to follow the same instructional model as the first semester with in-person students attending Monday through Thursday with Friday being an NTI day for all students. 

Childcare at MES and BES will also resume this Friday.

The school stated that all Healthy at School guidelines are still in place, including wearing a face covering, temperature checks, hand washing, and social distancing.

Other reminders from the school are as follows:

  • Families are still required to report a positive COVID test or COVID exposure to your child’s school or the district health coordinator. If your child is having any symptoms of COVID-19 they are not to be sent to school.
  • Meal services will resume this week for pick-up and delivery.

If you would like to change your student's enrollment status for the third grading period beginning on January 20 you must request a change by contacting your child’s school no later than Friday, January 8 2021 at 3:00 p.m.

At this time the school will continue to provide virtual instruction for those families who feel their students are safer learning from home.

The school also stated that the return to school plan also includes the possibility of moving to a hybrid schedule with Blue/Gold learning days, closing an individual classroom, school, or the entire district due to staffing issues or outbreaks.
