Trimble County Sheriff's Office Arrest Two In Connection To Multiple Burglaries Around Bedford

They were charged and sent to the Carroll County Detention Center. 

(Trimble County, Ky.) - On September 7, the Trimble County Sheriff's office reported numerous attempted break in's and burglaries that were occurring in Trimble County. 

Nickolas Gross, 20, and Christian Smalliack, 20, both of Bedford have allegedly broken into Trimble County Junior/Senior High School where they stole several items, including over $1,000 in brand new football jerseys. 

The two then broke into the Bedford Baptist Church by shattering the glass in the door where they stole electronic equipment. They then traveled to Poppy's General Store, where they shattered the front door before taking various items. They also broke the doors to the Bedford Stop N'Go and the First Your Physician's Office but did not enter. 

Through investigation at all of the scenes and follow-ups on the morning of September 8, both Gross and Smalliack were in custody. The two were charged with two felonies after doing over $4,000 of damage to the businesses in the community, and stealing over $2,000 in various items. 

They were charged and sent to the Carroll County Detention Center.
