UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Post 5 Conducting a Death Investigation in Henry County

Original Story March  29, 2021:

(Henry County, Ky.) - On Monday, March 29, at approximately 1142 a.m. Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a 911 call.  The caller advised he had discovered a deceased male subject located on his farm in New Castle.  Troopers as well as detectives from Post 5 responded to the scene. 

A male subject was located on the property and was pronounced deceased by the Henry County Coroner.  The subject's identity is unknown at this time.  An autopsy is pending.  Kentucky State Police Post 5 detectives are leading the ongoing investigation. 

Updated Story March 30, 2021:

(Henry County, Ky.) - On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, an autopsy was conducted on the unidentified male subject.  The subject was identified as Harold Cox a 56-year-old male from Shelbyville Kentucky.  At this time no foul play suspected. 

The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by Kentucky State Police Post 5.
