Winter Weather Advisory Beginning At 4:00 p.m. Today

It is advised to use caution while traveling.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) – The Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency has announced that the local counties will be under a winter weather advisory from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27 until 1:00 a.m. on Thursday.

 The Affected Areas Are Jefferson, Scott, Trimble, Oldham, Woodford, Clark, Harrison, Marion, Washington, Bullitt, Fayette, Shelby, Nicholas, Spencer, Casey, Floyd, Garrard, Larue, Oldham, Taylor, Jessamine, Hardin, Mercer, Henry, Bourbon, Madison, Clark, Franklin, Lincoln, Boyle Nelson, Anderson

There will be minor snow accumulations Wednesday afternoon and evening just before sunset until mid-evening. Accumulations of up to one inch are expected in some areas.
