This winter weather advisory will begin at 4:00 p.m. Monday and will continue until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) – The National Weather Service out of Louisville has issued a Winter Weather advisory until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 1.
The first accumulation of snow this season is expected across portions of southern Indiana and central Kentucky this evening.
Rain is expected to develop across the region during this event and then will transition over to snow during the day Monday. Freezing temperatures are expected to remain above freezing during the daytime hours, little accumulation is expected.
However, with the colder conditions expected Monday evening as snow showers are expected to remain ongoing across portions of the region. A total of 1 go 2 inches of snow is expected.

Road conditions are expected to be slippery and could impact the morning or evening commute.
