Scottsburg decides not to renew boys basketball head coach Brent Jameson's contract.

In High School Basketball:

At a meeting yesterday, Scottsburg school board voted not to renew the contract of head coach Brent Jameson, who was 41-57 in four seasons, but had led the Warriors to back to back winning seasons for the first time since 2007. Jameson said he was blindsided by the decision, saying, “In 4 years, I haven’t had a single negative review. It has been nothing but positive support from my athletic director.” There is no word yet as to who will fill the position.

In the National Football League:

The Cincinnati Bengals released Corner B.W. Webb, and Guard John Miller.

Malcolm Jenkins has agreed to reunite with the New Orleans Saints with a 4 year deal.
