Shawe Memorial returned home Saturday morning for a non-conference matchup with Trimble County winning 8-3 on strong pitching and timely hitting.  Jacob Hertz started on the mound and picked up the win going 7 innings allowing 3 runs 2 earned.  He scattered 9 hits and struck out 7.

Offensively,  the Hilltoppers were led by Eric Liu who was 3/4 with an RBI and 2 runs scored.  Wyatt Nichter and Philip Kahn each added 2 hits. Kahn had an RBI  and Nichter 3.  Jacob Hart, Zach Gish, and Hertz had singles for the Hilltoppers.

Southwestern finished the day with a team score of 417. 

MADISON PICKS UP first win of the year, and Landon True was medalist with an even par round. Henry Ashley finished 4^th and Clayton Benkert finished 5^th.

MADISON placed third in the Paoli Invite. This proved to be our first win over Tell City.
