HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL:

Southwestern falls to Madison, 6-1

Switzerland Co. defeated by Jac-Cen-Del, 16-1

Trimble Co. falls to Williamstown, 6-3

 

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

Switzerland Co. defeats Jac-Cen-Del, 13-12

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TENNIS:

Southwestern defeats South Central 4-1


 

Saturday, April 6:

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL:

Switzerland Co. falls to Austin, 11-1

 

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

Madison falls to Silver Creek, 10-0

Southwestern over Oldenburg Academy 5-4 & 11-0

South Ripley defeats South Decatur 17-7

 

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS GOLF:

Madison finished 8th shooting a 349 and Southwestern was 12th with a 377 at the Floyd Central Invitational. Hunter Mefford 76 for the Rebels.

 

HIGH SCHOOL TRACK:

Southwestern track & field, Jeff Inferno at Jeffersonville, Boys finished 11th the girls 14th

Madison track & field, Cross Bones Relays at Greensburg, no team scores were kept. The Cubs had two firsts in the 4 X 800 and 4 X 400

 

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS: 

Hanover College men’s golf, Battle at Belterra, Belterra GC, Panthers shoot a 611 to finish 2nd overall.

Hanover College baseball falls to Earlham, 12-3 & 3-0

Hanover College men’s and women’s tennis both shut out Oakland City, 7-0

Hanover College track & field, DePauw Invitational at Greencastle, both finish 4th

Hanover College men’s lacrosse defeats Earlham, 21-1

Hanover College softball falls to Manchester, 6-5 & 11-2

Hanover College women’s lacrosse over Franklin, 23-4
