Wild finish to Southwestern game, hear coach Bomholt's comments after the game

It was a packed house at Milan on Friday and the fans got their money's worth as the Indians, Carsyan Ascherman hit one at the buzzer to give Milan a 65-64 win over Southwestern.

The Rebels were led by Foster Mefford with 26 points while Zach Cole, Billy Eccles and Austin Kramer each had 12. Southwestern head coach Jerry Bomholt had this to say after the game on our Chandler Chevrolet post-game show:

 

3A #1 Silver Creek defeats Madison 91-60. Luke Ommen 14, Mason Welsh 11 and Luke Miller 10 for the Cubs.

Rising Sun over Shawe 49-44. Ethan Stuart 14 points, Grayson May 11 for the Hilltoppers. Stuart one point away from 1,000, he will get it Thursday at home against Christian Academy of Indiana.

Switzerland Co. picks up a homecoming win over New Washington 53-48.

Trimble Co. falls to Newport 78-57. Dylan Jennings 18 for the Raiders.

Trimble Co. over Williamstown 34-28. Shelby Wilcoxson 17 for the Lady Raiders
