FOOTBALL FRIDAY NIGHT:

Madison and Switzerland Co. both fall in their final regular season games. Cubs fall at Seymour 28-7 while the Pacers fall to Milan 46-0

Madison travels to Edgewood next Friday to open sectional play. Edgewood fell to Greencastle 34-6. Switzerland Co. will also open on the road at Providence. Providence defeated Linton-Stockton 35-14.

Walton-Verona captured the 2A District 5 crown with a 13-0 win over Carroll Co. Panthers will finish district play as runner-up and like Walton host a first round playoff game on November 2nd.

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

 The Hanover women's cross country team had six personal records to highlight its performance at the Wilmington (Ohio) Jenna Strong Fall Classic as the Panthers 11th in the meet. Ball State was first and Northern Kentucky 2nd two D1 schools.

 The Hanover men's cross country team used its final pre-conference tune-up to set five personal records at the Wilmington (Ohio) Jenna Strong Fall Classic. Panthers finished in 8th in the meet.
