Girls Varsity Volleyball:
Southwestern suffered a 3 set sweep against tournament favorite North Decatur, 25-15, 27-25, 25-15.
Switzerland County fell in four sets to South Decatur 21-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-18.
Shawe's season came to an end with a close 3-1 loss to Lanesville, 21-25, 15-25, 25-23, 24-26.
Madison's season came to an end with a 3-0 loss to eventual sectional champion Silver Creek.
Trimble County fell to Eminence on Thursday 25-12, 25-18. Trimble County opens up sectional play against top seeded North Oldham on Monday.

Boys Varsity Soccer:
Carroll County's hopes at a district title were crushed after losing 1-0 to Owen County in the 31st District Championship. Carroll County now will play Williamstown in the Eighth Region Tournament at South Oldham Monday at 5pm.
Scottsburg fell to Memorial 4-1. Warriors close out the season with a record of 18-2.
Cross Country:
Madison has 3 girls cross country runners advancing to Semi-State. Congratulations to Ava Spencer, Cadence Traylor, and Brett Cahall.
Shawe's Calli Alderman placed 12th at the Girls Cross Country Regional, and earned her birth to Semi-State.
