SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7th:

HANOVER COLLEGE ATHLETICS:

 The men's basketball team saw three players finish in double figures as they defeated Manchester in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon to remain unbeaten, 65-56. Panthers, now 6-0 on the season and 2-0 in the HCAC, were led by Kevin Williams with 22 points.

Alexis Nall scored 30 points in a dominate performance to help propel the Panthers past Manchester on Saturday evening in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action from inside Collier Arena, 72-65. It was the women's team first game at home this season. Hanover now 3-3 on the season and 2-0 in the HCAC.

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL:

Cannelton defeats Christian Academy of Madison 50-36 to win the Southern Roads Conference Tournament. CAM went 2-1 in the tournament.

Southwestern picks up a 57-49 win over Columbus East. Foster Mefford with 17 points and Austin Kramer 15 lead Rebels.

Crothersville defeats Switzerland Co. 65-56

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:

Trimble Co. defeats Waggener 56-32. Shelby Wilcoxson 21 and Abby Ponder 14

Switzerland Co. over Christian Academy of Indiana 37-10. Jaden Harrell 10 for the Lady Pacers

 

HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING:

 

The Cubs brought home the hardware in their own invitational winning the boy's side with a score of 387, Batesville 275, North Harrison 207, and Silver Creek 111. The Lady Cubs placed second on the girl's side with North Harrison 315, Madison 301, Batesville 261, and Silver Creek 125. Combined team scores for the meet were: Madison 688, Batesville 536, North Harrison 522 and Silver Creek 236.
