Carroll Co. splits at Harrison Co. defeating Newport 8-4 but fell to Harrison Co. 13-1

Oldenburg Academy over Switzerland Co. 16-4

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

Switzerland Co. defeats South Ripley 9-1 in the conclusion of the game suspended due to rain last week.

KHSAA BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT:

Carroll County’s Quinten Clem and Duncan Tingle finished 21^st in the two-day event on Kentucky Lake. Connor Hartman and Wyatt Adair finished 83^rd.  2019 KHSAA Bass Fishing State Championship Results

Former Madison Cub,  Ryan Thurston made his Chicago Dogs debut on Saturday pitching two innings, giving up four hits, two walks, one earned run and struck out one batter as the Dogs defeated the South Shore Railcats in a exhibition game at Impact Field, 4-1.
