Romeo, one and done

Romeo Langford looks to be one and done at IU.  ESPN reported last night that Langford will declare for the NBA draft.  ESPN has Langford rated as the eleventh best player in June's draft. 

 

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL:

Carroll Co. defeats Trimble Co. in 5 innings 13-0

Shawe falls to Milan 21-7. Matthew Binzer and Hunter Kinnett who were both 2-4 with a double each for the Hilltoppers

 

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

Carroll Co. goes to 6-0 with a 10-0 5 inning win over Paris

 

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TENNIS:

Shawe falls to Jennings Co. 4-1. Phoebe Grote picked up the Lady Toppers win at #2 Singles.

Lawrenceburg defeats Madison 3-2

 

HIGH SCHOOL TRACK:

Madison boys won a three-team meet over South Ripley and Shawe.  Madison - 85; South Ripley-45; Shawe-12.

Switzerland Co. girls were 1st and the boys 2nd in a three team meet at Jac-Cen-Del. Boys: 1st JCD – 61, 2nd Switzerland Co.-50, 3rd Rising Sun-45. Girls: 1st Switzerland Co. – 60, 2nd JCD-56, and 3rd Rising Sun-31
