Boys Varsity Basketball:

Gallatin County took down Trimble County in the 8th Region All "A" Classic 70-58.

Southwestern beat Providence 61-53.

 

Girls Varsity Basketball:

Trimble County took down Gallatin County in the 8th Region All "A" Classic 44-30.

Jennings County beat New Albany 53-40.

Madison defeated Brownstown Central 51-38. Jade Nutley led the Lady Cubs with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Southwestern beat North Decatur 57-42.

Milan lost to Jac-Cen-Del 35-75.

Scottsburg fell to Seymour 54-51.

Shawe fell to Clarksville 31-24.

 

Varsity Swimming:

The Madison Cubs swim team was back in the water this evening after the holiday break and brought home a win against the Salem Lions with a combined score Madison 201 - Salem 72.  Both teams took first in every event.  The Lady Cubs swept every event winning with a score of 93-61 and the Cubs reigned with a score of 108-11.

The top three finishers for the Cubs included:

The Cubs host their annual January Invitational with Switzerland County, Oldenburg Academy, and South Ripley on Saturday, January 9 at 11 a.m.  Senior Celebration will take place at the beginning of the meet.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only home athlete families are permitted to attend with a swim pass.
