IHSAA Girls Track Sectional

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TRACK SECTIONAL:

Madison finished 3rd, Switzerland Co. 4th, Southwestern 7th and Shawe 11th.

Madison's Leah Partin sectional champion in the 300 hurdles, Southwestern’ s Taylor Cole sectional champion in the 400, Switzerland County's Leah Anders sectional champion in the 800 and Aleiah Thomas sectional champion in the high jump.

Southwestern defeats Christian Academy 8-7

Shawe falls 20-2 to Rising Sun

Henry Co. over Trimble Co. 8-0

Jeffersonville defeats Madison 13-1

Carroll Co. falls to Franklin Co. 14-0

 

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

Madison falls 8-3 to South Dearborn

Carroll Co. over Dixie Heights 3-2

Trimble Co. defeats Gallatin Co. 17-0

 

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS GOLF:

Batesville won a three-team match shooting a 158, Southwestern was 2nd with a 165 and Rising Sun 3rd at 205. Hunter Mefford shot a 38 to lead the Rebels.

    Sentry Services, a program within LifeTime Resources, is excited to be able to offer the Volunteer Advocates for Seniors or Incapacitated Adult program in Jefferson County (VASIA). We are actively seeking local, caring, and compassionate people willing to give their time to help seniors or incapacitated adults have a greater quality of life. There are many different ways to serve as a VASIA volunteer: Visit clients at least once a month Accompany clients to medical appointments Send "thinking of you" cards Assist with applying for and maintaining benefits Support the program and staff by providing clerical support When you volunteer for the VASIA program, you will receive training on the role of an advocate and resources to assist the client as well as continued support and assistance of our processional staff.
