Thanksgiving Eve Turkey Shootout Tonight

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL:

Shawe was forced to move their double-header against Medora to Southwestern due to a power outage. Topper felt right at home as both the girls and boys came away with wins. Lady Toppers defeated Medora 63-15, while the guys won in overtime 60-57. Ethan Stuart led the Toppers with 35 points and Kate Grote had 38 for the girls.

 

Lawrenceburg defeats Switzerland Co. in boys hoops 42-30. Damian Breeck with 10 for the Pacers.

 

Christian Academy of Madison falls to Assumption in overtime 63-62. Trent Haggard 17 for the Defenders.

 

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING:

Madison defeats Providence 54-30.

 

HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING:

Madison swimming opens season with a dual meet loss at Seymour, 115-68 (boys) & 127-44 (girls).

 

HANOVER COLLEGE:

The men's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, as nationally-ranked Wooster pulled away late for a 57-47 decision inside Collier Arena. Panthers had pulled to with in one before the Fighting Scots went on a 10-0 run to finish the contest.

 

Tonight, the annual Thanksgiving Eve Turkey Shootout as Madison hosts Southwestern at Conner K. Salm Gym. Our coverage begins at 5:45 with the girls tip at 6 and the boys to follow.
