CCHS new boys basketball coach

IHSAA GIRLS TENNIS SECTIONAL:

Southwestern fell to host Greensburg 3-2. No.1 doubles team of Ashlyn Cloud & Chloe Adcock won their match 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 and advance in the tournament to the doubles sectional Wednesday at Bloomington North. Greensburg takes on Madison tonight @ 5 while Shawe battles Jennings Co. also @ 5 at Greensburg in the semi-finals.

 

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL:

Southwestern over Switzerland Co. 11-1

Shawe falls to South Ripley 8-0

 

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL:

A 6 run third led to Switzerland Co. defeating Southwestern 7-0

Shawe falls to South Ripley 13-0

Jeffersonville over Madison 11-6

Carroll Co. defeats Trimble Co. 3-0

 

Carroll Co. announced and introduced Jonathan Moore as their new boys’ varsity head basketball coach. Moore, 35,  comes to the Panthers from George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, KY , where he was an assistant for the past two years. He has also been an assistant at Lexington Dunbar, when they won the 2016 KHSAA State Boys Basketball Championship and Franklin Co. as well as with the Kentucky All-Star Team.

 

The University of Louisville Men's Golf Team  advanced to the NCAA DI National Championships May 23-29  in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Former Madison Cub golfer, Justin Tereshko will be apart as Justin is the Cardinals  assistant coach. National Championships are not strange to Tereshko was part of the Transylvania that advanced to the NCAA DIII Championships and coached Guilford College to three appearances in the DIII Championships
