We had a very good result for our first meet tonight. Our girls have worked hard to prepare over the last week, and they are just beginning to see the results of their efforts. I am proud of what they accomplished tonight, and I am very excited for what the rest of the season holds for our team.

The bottom of the order picked us up today. I'm really proud of them. The end of a golf match can be bittersweet for golf coaches because sometimes you have long faces and sometimes you have frowns, and sometimes it comes from teammates in the same group.
Emmi and Eliza got off to a fairly good start, but hit some adversity and just couldn't right the ship today. It happens. Golf is hard, but they can improve on their focus down the stretch. Their seniors and I expect them to bounce back.
But the bottom half was very good today, relatively. Claire and Emma have been pretty consistently around 50. I'm excited for them because I think they are just scratching the surface of their potential.
Tera has been a revelation since we started with the stack and tilt swing. She just keeps getting better. If she tightens her short game, she can be very dangerous because she hits it a country mile. The new swing mechanics have tightened up her misses, and she's much more consistent with her ball striking.
