GOLF: 

Southwestern Boy's Golf came away with the victory at Belterra Golf Course with a team score of 176, beating out Switzerland Co. (186) and South Ripley (236). Wayde Barker (Southwestern) tied as the medalist with Evan Bosaw (Switzerland Co.) both shooting a 41. Wyatt Barker placed 3rd overall with a 43, and Jackson Taylor was 4th overall with a 44. We will be back at Belterra on Thursday, looking to improve upon tonight's success.

SOFTBALL: 

Trimble County 19, Eminence 0

TENNIS: 

Southwestern traveled to New Washington  and came out with a 4-1 win. Emma Hatton  stays hot with a 6-1, 6-0 win to improve to 13-1 on the season. Annie Ford won 6-3, 6-0 to improve to 12-2. One doubles won 7-5, 6-2. Ava and Raygan are still a work in progress but coming along nicely. Two doubles followed up last nights big come from behind win to post a 6-0, 6-2 win. Natalie LaRue played a good match at one singles in a back and forth match. Nat played a great first set with a 6-1 edge but got a bit sloppy and allowed her opponent to claim a 7-5 second set tie breaker. So to a third set super tie breaker we went. Nat took a 8-6 lead and just did not close out the match allowing her opponent to stay in the match and pull it out 11-13 in the tie breaker.
