Shawe Baseball over Assumption Academy 9-4

Shawe Memorial began the 2024 baseball campaign on the right foot Saturday morning defeating Assumption Academy 9-4 at home. Jacob Hertz started on the mound and went the distance striking out 11 and allowing 4 runs on 8 hits while walking 3. At the plate the Hilltoppers were led by Philip Kahn who had 4 hits with 4 RBIs and was a home run shy of hitting for the cycle. Ryker Brooks had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Hertz added an RBI double. The Hilltoppers return to action Tuesday when they host ORVC foe Jac Cen Del.
