IHSAA Announces Plans Moving Forward, Former Scottsburg Boys Basketball Coach Hired Elsewhere.

The IHSAA just announced Wednesday (May 6) that barring any changes from the Governor’s office, school-sponsored summer activities in Indiana can commence on July 1st. These activities must be limited to school grounds. Any school-sponsored athletic activities, which cannot be conducted off-campus by rule, during the school year ending June 30th, are prohibited. There is normally a moratorium week around the 4th of July holiday, but the IHSAA is waiving that rule for this year in light of the amount of time students have been restricted from school and contact with their teammates and coaches.

Former Scottsburg Warrior Coach Brent Jameson has been hired by Louisville Butler as their new Varsity Basketball Head Coach.
