Boys Basketball:

Madison 61, Southwestern 49. The Cubs reclaimed the Old Oaken Bucket for the first time since 2016.

Girls Basketball:

Carroll County 59, Gallatin County 47. Carroll County is now 3-5 overall

Saturday, January 23

Boys Basketball:

Trimble County 77, Woodford County 70.

Lawrenceburg 47, Jac-Cen-Del 36 - Garrett Yoon led the way with 17 points. Dahya Patel and Reece Denning added 8 points each. The Tigers have now won 5 of their last six games.

Girls Basketball:

Madison (JV) 41, South Dearborn 24.

Trimble County 59, Western Hills 30. Shelby Wilcoxson lead with 26 points her career total is now 1,287  points, Addison Edmondson had 11 points. Kiana Mitchell and Kaylind Davis lead Western Hills with 13 and 6 points.

Madison (V) 91, South Dearborn 22. Lundun Perry had 20 points and 4 steals. Daesja Jay had 17 points and 3 assists. Chloe Ferris had 15 points, and Jade Nutley had a triple-double with 11 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds.

South Ripley 53, Shawe 18. The Hilltoppers are now 1-5 in their season and 0-4 in the ORVC.

Swimming:

Southwestern and Switzerland County went head to head on Saturday. The individual winners are as follows:

Southwestern:

  • Julia Worcester – 100 Fly
  • Ethan Besse – 100 Back

Switzerland County:

  • Adrian Armstrong – 50 Free, 100 Free
