Bengals Get QB Burrow, Bengals and Colts Start Off Round 2 With Back to Back Picks

The 2020 NFL Draft went underway last night, and for the first time ever was held virtually. The first round was completed last night, with more rounds to come starting today at 7pm. With the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals selected Joe Burrow, Quarterback from LSU. This was what most people were expecting, after Burrow won the Heisman Trophy last season, and led the Tigers to a national championship. Burrow is coming off of one of the most spectacular seasons in NCAA Football history, passing for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns while only throwing six interceptions. On top of that, he had a completion percentage of 76.3%. The Bengals have the first pick in the second round as well, sitting at pick 33. As for the Indianapolis Colts, they did not have a pick in the first round, after trading their first rounder to San Francisco to acquire defensive lineman Deforest Buckner. Indy sits right behind Cincinnati with the second pick of the second round at pick 34.
