Friday, August 9th:

GIRLS GOLF: Southwestern girls golf defeated Switzerland County & Shawe in a three-way meet at Butler Falls GC in Hanover. Southwestern - 186, Switz Co - N/A, Shawe - N/A. Lady Rebel, Belle Crawford shot a 44 for medalist honors. Lady Pacer, Haley Hines and Lady Topper Bailey Kilgore each shot 55 to lead their teams.

Saturday, August 10th:

GIRLS GOLF:  Madison Lady Cubs Golf finish 2nd at the New Albany Invite with a 395. Keara Eder was medalist with a 72.

Sunday, August 11^th:

After a rough 8^th inning, Ryan Thurston worked a perfect bottom of the ninth to secure his 4th victory of the season. The left-hander went two innings out of the bullpen, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out three.
