The closure is for the observance of Columbus Day.

(Madison, Ind.) – The City of Madison and the Madison Transfer Station will be closed to observe the Columbus Day holiday.
The closure will be on Monday, October 12.
All garbage, recycle, and compost pick up will be delayed one day throughout the week. City Hall and the Transfer Station will re-open on Tuesday, October 13 for regular business hours.
