City of Madison Fire Units Respond To 400 Block Of East Second Street

Smoke coming from second floor of structure

City of Madison Fire Units responded to a report of smoke coming from a structure on the 400 block of East 2nd downtown early this morning.

Crews concentrated on the second floor of the structure at 408 E. Second where fire was reported in the walls and attic. Flames were also coming through the roof.

The structure in connected to the Colonial Flower Shoppe at 406 E. Second Street and second floor was being remodeled.
