Deputies Arrest Nine over the Weekend on Various Charges

Scott County-On June 11, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman went to a local business in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Trenton Campbell, 28, of Austin was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

On June 11, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman went to an address in rural Scott County in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival William Richie, 45, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for two counts of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

On June 11, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer and Deputies Eric Balingit, Jessica Dickey and Todd Hooker responded to a property damage accident in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Michelle Harris, 35, of Lexington for Operating While Intoxicated Refusal, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Law Enforcement, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Public Intoxication.

On June 13, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman was conducting Patrol through a local business in Scottsburg when he observed a vehicle pull in after hours.  An investigation led to the arrest of three people for drug related charges. 

Mark Winchester, 28, of Lexington, IN, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Carrying a Handgun Without a License and Driving While Suspended Prior. 

Emily Blankenbaker, 24, of Lexington, IN, was arrested for Visiting a Common Nuisance. 

Paul Banks, 30, of Scottsburg was arrested for Visiting a Common Nuisance.
