Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear announced continued momentum within the state’s manufacturing sector as Poland-based Displate Manufacturing unveiled plans to locate its first Kentucky operation in Louisville with a $9.5 million investment, creating 79 quality, full-time jobs.

“Kentucky’s unique location, skilled workforce and access to resources make it an ideal location for any company looking to expand its operations,” said Gov. Beshear. “Displate is just the latest overseas company to recognize the value of doing business here in the commonwealth and the advantages it affords them. I am excited about the 79 new jobs this investment will create and the opportunities it will provide for our fellow Kentuckians and their families. I look forward to Displate’s future success here in its New Kentucky Home.”

Displate is a global e-commerce group specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality metal poster artwork. As part of the company’s long-term strategic expansion into the North American market, Displate’s new manufacturing and logistics operation will reduce delivery times, lower logistics costs and increase overall operational flexibility.

The nearly 60,000-square-foot leased facility will be the company’s first operation in the commonwealth and will allow for increased production capacity to meet future and expected growth in the U.S. and North American markets. By the end of 2026, the facility will handle between 35-50% of the company’s U.S. orders, with full operational capacity expected by 2027.

“Establishing our first U.S. manufacturing operation in Louisville is a defining milestone for Displate and a critical step in our long term North American expansion,” said Nicholas Holdcraft, CEO of Displate. “Kentucky offers an exceptional combination of manufacturing talent, logistics infrastructure and a business environment that supports scale and innovation. This investment allows us to serve our U.S. customers faster, operate with greater flexibility and build a strong local team that will be central to our future growth. We are proud to make Louisville our manufacturing home in the United States and to create high-quality, well-paying jobs for the local community. Displate is committed to being a long-term partner in Kentucky. We look forward to investing in people, supporting economic development and growing alongside the community for years to come.”

Displate operates across multiple international markets and has built a business model that combines proprietary manufacturing technology, a global network of artists and brands and performance-driven digital marketing to serve customers in over 40 countries. The company is headquartered in Poland and operates its U.S. business development and marketing operations in Seattle.

Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg highlighted the company’s fit into the community’s strong advanced manufacturing ecosystem: “Displate’s multimillion-dollar investment in Louisville and its commitment to create nearly 80 new well-paying jobs is another example that helps cement Louisville as America’s home for advanced manufacturing. We are proud to welcome this global company to its first U.S. manufacturing home in South Louisville and look forward to connecting Displate to our unmatched ecosystem of innovation that can’t be found anywhere else in America.”

Trevor Pawl, CEO of One Louisville, is excited to work with the company: “Louisville is the place to grow a manufacturing business and companies across the globe are noticing. Displate’s investment is another example of a company who sees the value of Louisville’s unmatched logistical advantages, talent pool and manufacturing expertise. I am excited to work with Displate’s team as they continue to grow and innovate from their new U.S. operations homebase.”

Displate Manufacturing’s investment and job creation furthers what has been the best six-year period for economic growth in state history.
