Arrests made in Holton
Ripley County-On Thursday, April 5, 2018, troopers from the Indiana State Police-Versailles All Crimes Policing Team arrested nine people on numerous drug charges following an investigation at a Holton residence.
The investigation began shortly after noon when troopers went to a residence located at 168 S. Marion Street, Holton, Indiana to conduct a follow-up investigation. Upon entering the home and speaking with the home owners, troopers observed evidence of drug usage in plain view. Nine people who were located inside the residence were detained.
Troopers applied for and received a search warrant for the property from the Ripley County Circuit Court. Upon searching the residence, troopers located suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, hypodermic syringes, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of U.S. Currency. All nine adults inside the home were arrested on various drug charges.
The homeowners, Kathy Hardesty and her daughter Josie Robbins, face charges of dealing methamphetamine and other drug related charges. Charges on the other seven individuals include possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic syringes, and visiting a common nuisance.
All were transported to the Ripley County Jail where they were held until their initial court appearance.
