Hanover man arrested in Super ATV burglary

Caused thousands of dollars in damage

On July 3, 2021, MPD Detective Jeremey Perkins investigated a burglary at SuperATV. During the burglary, a suspect drove a 2020 CanAm ATV on the property, causing an estimated $3,000 to $4,000 in damages. The suspect also broke the ignition of a semi truck, causing an estimated $500 in damage.

Perkins submitted all evidence obtained during the investigation to the Jefferson County Prosecutor's Office. On October 7, 2021 an arrest warrant was served on Thomas M. Freeman, 28, of Hanover, Indiana. Freeman has been charged with Burglary, a level 5 felony, along with two counts of criminal mischief, both class A misdemeanors, and theft, a class A misdemeanor. All charges are alleged and Thomas Freeman has the presumption of innocence unless proven guilty in a court of law.
