Hanover Woman Charged With Felony While Being Booked Into Jail

Jail staff found a plastic container on Pedigo containing methamphetamine.

(Jefferson County, Ind.) - Melody R. Pedigo,42, of Hanover was arrested Saturday on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and trafficking with an inmate.

This comes after jail staff found a plastic container on Pedigo containing methamphetamine which she failed to mention was on her person while being processed into the Jefferson County Jail Thursday morning. 

No drugs made it into the actual jail. 

Now, she is facing two felony charges along with additional charges from a warrant out of Jennings County. Her warrant was issued on failure to appear for the charges of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine.
