Ten applications for school technology advancement loans were approved.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – The Indiana State Board of Education met virtually today for its August business meeting.
During the meeting, board members approved an extension of the Ivy Tech Career Specialist Permit Pedagogy Component Program. Currently, Ivy Tech Columbus offers the only approved program of this type in the Hoosier state.
Ten applications for school technology advancement loans were approved.
The total dollar value to be distributed is $2,299,666. The school corporations include:
- Cowan Community School Corporation,
- Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation,
- MSD Warren County,
- Fort Wayne Community Schools,
- Porter Township School Corporation,
- Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation,
- Elkhart Community Schools,
- Milan Community Schools,
- East Porter County School Corporation, and
- MSD Warren Township.

The Board will hold its next meeting on September 2, 2020.
